This is where I got today on the piece from yesterday. As you can see, I am not staying as loose as I wanted. I'm still working on it so we'll see where it goes.
It's still an abstract interpretation, which isn't a stretch since it's just from my head!
I guess they look like tulips. I'm not sure why I continue to paint these. Particularly since these were what I admired on my walk today. WOW!
My Mom always called them Brown Eyed Susans. What a lovely name for a flower! Maybe they'll show up in my work when the weather turns to Fall.
In the meantime... it is still summer, enjoy!
